Thanks everyone. Just tryin to represent comet lovers here in Arizona. The interior was done by the last owner, and i think he did a great job with the black and white. Gonna drop in a new fuel pump and power steering pump this weekend. After that, front disc. Wish me luck!

Thanks everyone. That helps a lot. Now i think ill use the stock spindles. Doesnt seem like i need to get new ones if its not gonna make much difference. Plus, it saves me a few hundred bucks.

Just picked up a '64 Caliente Convertible. Im new to this hobby and I'm sure Ill be needing some help. Gonna start with swaping the front drums for disc. Good to see all these comet lovers here!

Hi to all! Recently purchased a '64 Comet Caliente Convertible. I wanna change out the front drum for disc. Dearborn Classics has 2 kits, one using existing spindle for $700 and the other using new spindles for $950. Which is better? If i can, should i stick with the original spindles or go for new ...
