Pretty cool I won a 1964 Mercury Comet 202 on eBay the original vintage burgundy color manual transmission and no frills 202 model with a v8

Hillbillycomet.. you were right prices did increase I have been seeing fine restos in the 10-15k range... These comets are unique and finding one is at this moment getting even harder and harder to find.

I have a s22 hardtop 6 cyl automatic I would like to convert to a 4 speed.. now as far as steering columns are concerned which one would interchange to duplicate an original??

Hello My fellow Mercs.. Question... Did the comet in 63 ever come out with a burgundy exterior a buddy of mine mentioned his had no color code that it was a special order and his was. Burgundy or dark Red.

Would like to have front wheeel drive utilizing all front end of SHO.. cutting down CV joints to shrink width. Of SHO to fit Comet.
