Hello,
What lbs radiator cap are you guys running, or would suggest to run with a 460? How do you decide what lbs to use?
Any help would be appreciative. Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Throttle linkage
I am glad I saw this post the other day. The part shown in the pictures below is what holds the ball at the top of my linkage on my 64 caliente. It has worn out. Any one know where I can find one or even what it is called? https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc1/478804_694586850812_81...

Re: 64 bench seat
My frame and seat covers are fine. It is just the springs in the front driver side seat-back. Thanks for pointing out it is a split back bench seat.

Hello all,
I have a 64 Caliente with a bench seat and am in need of new springs for the driver side backrest. All of the springs are broken. Anyone know were I can get something that would fit?

Radiator Fin Repair
Hello,
Anyone know of a tool to help straighten out bent radiator fins? I have been looking at the combs they have, but they will work for my radiator. My only game plan is going over each one with a small screwdriver or small needle nose plier. Any ideas?

Re: Temp Control Sending Unit
It is an 8 qt oil pan. It is not very low, I have never had a problem. In fact I can go out and measure the clearance tomorrow. I don't know if it would make a difference but I do have a 302 block instead of a 289.

Re: Temp Control Sending Unit
Thanks guys! That really helps. One more question though. (It seems like there is always another!) What kind of temp on/ off should I be using for the fan? 195/175 or 185/165? I have a 347 stroker about 400 hp with aluminum heads. It normally runs around 180 or a hair over at cruising speed or 195- ...

Temp Control Sending Unit
Hi, I am putting an electric fan on my radiator. The mechanical was not cutting it anymore. Was fine driving, but in a parking lot or a very long light it would start to heat up. The last thing I want is my aluminum heads warping!A few question I hope you gurus can help me out with. 1. Where the bes...

Parking Brake
Hello All, My front parking brake cable broke the other day. I have a replacement cable but I cannot get the bar you pull on out. There is a knob (not sure what you would call it) that stops you from turning the handle any further or pulling the handle out. Does anyone know if you can just knock it ...

Roy, Is the sticker in the sill plate the black ford "Product of Ford Motor Company" sticker or emblem? Or is there a Mercury emblem for the middle of the sill plate?

Air Cleaner Size
Hello I am new to these forums and am probably the only mid 20's guy in America that owns a 1964 Comet Caliente. I am having a problem finding an air cleaner that will fit and not rub my hood. I am not sure what info you need to help but here are the basics; 347 Stroker, crites fiberglass ram air ho...
