Re: 63 single master bowl upgrade to dual
I did a dual bowl for drums before I went to discs.
I ordered a master for a 70 Maverick all drums. Bolted in modded the lines and don't remember about the fittings but should be easy to sort.

Re: Front end brakes and suspension
These are a couple pics I took of Matt's car in 2012 at a show in my hm town. Clean Cruiser!! Didn't know Matt but these cars are super rare in Canada is why it stood out in my memory. This is the only 63.5 Comet I've seen in Canada and one 63.5 Falcon that is actually a 5 min drive from me where I ...

Re: Not Comet but cool yard art project.
Well a couple buddies and I have come up with a perfect build for that body. First , trash the vw stuff,! New rear wheel drive chassis with a dropped Bell front axle. Cut a hole just big enough to get a sbf part way into that front area but no radiator. The rad would be hidden in the rear under a lo...

Re: Front end brakes and suspension
To me looks like it eccentric washer is used as a plain washer.
Don't know about the Maverick spindle but the other fellow posting here might.

Re: Front end brakes and suspension
Johno installed the eccentric setup on his 65 but I don't know anything about them. I'm not sure if they are a aftermarket setup or stolen from a factory setup off something else.

Re: Front end brakes and suspension
https://imgur.com/a/tf48nTe Not a great pic but my strut rod runs across the LCA diagonally (don’t think it’s a Maverick strut rod). The LCA has four holes to allow for this. However all the control arms I find online for ‘74 Mav only have 2 holes that run fore and aft so won’t work. However this c...

Hey Sassy Yes, orange and in Saskatoon. I think we met quite a few years ago at cruise weekend. You had mentioned this forum but I couldn’t remember what your name on here was. Too cool! 2010 or '12 was the last time back to Toon Town for a car event. I remember taking a pic and talking a bit with ...

Need pics, my eyes glazed over trying to understand your post.
This car doesn't happen to be orange from Saskatoon at some point?

Re: Front end brakes and suspension
If it were me after what I've learned over the years. I'd insure the suspension mounts in the car are stock. Get a Centrelink for a '65 Falcon/Comet and for the rest get all '65/6 Mustang pieces. Easy to find, replacements will be around a long time and reasonable cost. If your car was a 6cyl it has...
