Re: 63 S22 wheel & tire size
I highly recommend test fitting before buying anything as not all wheels are the same, even if they're the same size. Offset makes a big different. I bought a set of 15x7 Torq Thrust II's with 205/60R15 BFG's and they don't quite fit in the rear. I've taken some measurements with them on and I don't...

Re: Crites spring relocation kit
Will this Crites kit work on a 63 Comet?
They advertise them for 64-65 Comet and 60-63 Falcon. Is there a difference in the geometry between the 63 Falcon and 63 Comet?

Rachero/Wagon leaf springs bolted onto 63" Hardtop
The length of 6 leaf springs for the Rachero/Wagon seem to match the standard length for the 63 hard top. I'm thinking of putting the 6 leaf heavy duty set in place of the standard 3 leaf set for extra stiffness and a little lift in the rear to give the car some rake and help with rear tire clearanc...

Adjustable shackles - 63 v8
Anyone have a lead on adjustable shackles for the 63? I've found them for 64+. There must be some out there that would work but i'm not keen on ordering something that I "hope" will fit.

Re: 63 interior
I may be able to hook you up with some trim and parts if still needed. I'm consolidating m 62 S22 and 63 S22 parts cars now and sending what's left to scrap within the next couple of weeks. I think I have everything I need for my other 63 S22. Once I have everything together and somewhat organized I...

Fairlane buckets compatible?
Does anyone know if the factory buckets from a 62 Fairlane are bolt-in compatible with a 63 Comet?
Looks to have the same pretty little console between the seats, but the seats themselves look slightly fatter more contoured.

FE 65
Does a big block drop into a 65 without trimming/removing the shock towers? Is any other mod needed aside from mounts?
Looking at a B/FX it looks like it uses the same front end with the 427 nestled snuggly in there.

Re: Speedometer cable for 63 with 302 & AOD
Unrelated, but what did it take to mount the AOD in the 63? I've heard that the tunnel has to be enlarged, and what to do about the crossmember?

63 S22 5 Lug Wheel/Tire Combo
I've searched through a few threads on this subject, so apologies in advance for any repeat. Looking for a good wheel/tire size combination for the 63 hardtop S22. Factory 5 lug. Would prefer to avoid any major modification or cutting, but interested in going with a larger diameter (15 or 16) and as...

63 Rear ride height increase - Leaf Spring Kit / Other
Anyone have any experience with rear height modification? I'll be rebuilding my front end within the next few weeks and going with a Shelby drop. Looking to slightly raise the ride height of the rear to accommodate the biggest drag radials that will fit without doing any body cutting. I'm going for ...

1963 V8 Disc Brake Conversion Kit + Steering
Hi all, I've been lurking around Google for a few weeks looking for a full power disc brake conversion kit for my 63 S22. I've found a couple of maybe's but can't seem to find anything that is a definite "will fit". If anyone has any leads on a full bolt on conversion kit I'd appreciate it. I've see...

Re: Hello!
Didn't see a tag on the intake, but did yank the intake off and look in the valley. No "289" in the valley.
It's a 63 1/2 car, so that sounds about right on the engine date.

Re: Hello!
Hey neighbor! I'm actually in the Goodlettsville area. I'll definitely be at Pigeon Forge in a couple of weeks to meet the crew. So, looks like you're right! Pulled the engine code and looks to me to be a 289 with a 5 bolt bellhousing. Can you confirm? The seller told me it was a 260, but I'm guess ...

Original AC still in the car, and the box is in great shape aesthetically.
