Re: 64 Comet Tail light chrome rings

Thanks for the response! I did some inspection on the worst lens I had and decided to give it a try. It was cracked pretty bad and broken around the back up lens, I used a screw driver to pry it off gently but it still broke the remaining plastic. They are definitely pressed onto the lens and will n...

64 Comet Tail light chrome rings

Hello all,
Was wondering if anyone has had any experience in removing the chrome tail light rings from the plastic tail light lenses?
I don’t want to break the lens and need to repair some dents in the chrome rings.

Re: Subframe connectors

Wow! That’s a super clean job.

Subframe connectors

Hi,
Does anyone have a build for subframe connectors? I found a couple of builds for Mustangs with blue prints but nothing for comets. I’m looking for ideas on the best way to install a set without getting into rearranging or cutting up the torque boxes in the rear.

New to the forums

Hello everyone,
I’m a noobie who’s restoring his first car and in need of some expert advice. I’ve been plugging away for a few years now on my 1964 Comet Caliente 2 door hardtop and hope to have it done sometime this decade. Hahaha
