Re: 1965 Comet Cyclone i've been trying to buy since I was 1
Welcome aboard, John. I'm a relative newbie to the forum, too (joined in November). I haven't posted much, yet, but there's hardly a night I don't check in to see what's going on. There is a wealth of information to be gained here. Question for the experts: Wasn't one of the more obvious visual tip-...

Re: SPOTTED 65's!!!! Yes Plural!
Tristan......I'm located in Lexington, so not too far from you. How about updating this post or PM me if you go to see this guy. I could use a few parts for my 65 Cyclone.

Re: 65 Caliente Passengers Side Mirror
Comechero will now have matching mirrors. I have all the parts but one so if it's made to be a remote I could turn it into a pass side remote as well. Just need the large bezel nut that mounts the control to the door. Ron....did you ever find a source for the large bezel nut? I have a left-hand rem...

Re: 1964 Cyclone Dash Insert Trim
AutoKrafters has an insert kit for $40. It's wood grained, like used on the Caliente. Not sure if the 64 Cyclone used wood grained or black.

How do you Remove Dash Switches?
How do you remove the switches from the dash? I searched the forum and found a reference to removing the light switch by pressing a spring loaded button that would release the knob and shaft, then unscrew the bezel. I depressed the button, but could not get the knob out. I couldn't find a reference,...

Re: Scratching my Mid-life Crisis Itch
Thanks for the info, Joe. Anything you find out on the reverse lockout bar would be appreciated. I notice in the photo of your car that it has what looks like an original factory option fiberglass scoop hood. Mine has a standard steel hood installed, but I got what I was told was an original fibergl...

Scratching my Mid-life Crisis Itch
A few weeks ago, after a year or so of searching, I yielded to my mid-life crisis and bought a 1965 Cyclone like the one I had when I was 17. I’m one of those who didn't appreciate in their youth what they sorely wish now they had never sold in the first place. I wish I could have bought the one I h...
