Re: BaT 'Bring a Trailer" auction site
Stacey, those Z cars are really coming out of the woodwork on Ba-T. They saw what yours brought.Don't think there gonna make it that far. Had new 73 and 74,wrecked them both. Not totaled so I still got a decent price out of them. Absorbed the loss myself.Didn't file an insurance claim because rates w...

Re: 1965 comet vintage air or classic air?
Mike, I don't think the 64's ever had anything but knee knockers. The new unit that I installed in the firewall used the factory heater controls in my 66. I just had to add factory blower switch to trip the compressor. That and I found factory in-dash registers for AC. You would have to use new unde...

Re: 1965 comet vintage air or classic air?
I've used both, they work great. I just use the knee knocker style in the Falcon and retain the factory heater. You could do the same. There are some other suppliers out there too. The stuff is pretty generic when you're hanging it under the dash. A whole system with deflectors either in or under th...

65 Cyclone coming up for sale
Well, well, I looked at this car about 5 years ago. At that time the old man wasn't selling anything. This place is like something you'd see on TV. A lifetime collection of cars, signs and everything else. The two buildings are probably at least 50 x 100 each. I heard he had passed last year. I went...

Re: 66 Cyclone on BaT
I agree, but the unrestored underside pictures look solid. Today is the day, I expect it to jump into the 20's pretty easily. That car next to my drop top would be cool. However, I have a Falcon in the way.

I'm guessing it had ethanol in spite of what the pump said. The find is textbook junkanol.

Re: Front end alignment
I did maintain the center of the wheel by the same effort, equal turns on each side of the tie-rod couplers. And I could be wrong, but I don't think caster causes tire wear. I drove it again this afternoon and it is just nice.
