The Edsel wagon kind of similar though not as far forwards. That was more common in non american countries.

While I was looking for that falcon I noticed a green 54 ford truck that had 55 emblems on the side of the hood & the orange 55 ford truck with harley davidson on the doors had 56 emblems on the side of the hood. :?

Pop I didn't know if it was that reason or if the trucks were made in Aus & just built a bit different than here, like so many others.

A lot of Ford vehicles from the 50's,60's were built in the Oakville Ontario Canada plant for export to British Commonwealth countries like Australia. Some were assembled in Australia as well. I also like the extra chrome and differentiations in grilles and interiors.
Albert's 65 289, polar white, black buckets, 5 speed, Autolite 4100, ps, pb, factory tach, crites hood, headers, dual exhaust

Some of our early Falcons had more bling on them than the US versions, as they were our principle cars. In the US they were known as economy cars, so less trim and bling for some models I would assume....
