Bright Iconic Rod Run 2016

Post by BJB »

My wife and I drove to Bright in Victoria last Friday and attended the show which is held over the weekend.. It was the first time we have visited this event and it is just huge...the entire town shuts down for this classic show. I took over 480 pictures and it is taking such a long time to upload to Photobucket ( it slows my entire internet down) ...this is the first installment. ( I snapped all brands and these pictures are nearly all Ford products , save for a beautiful Datsun 1600 ( 510 )

Hey Bruce, mate, I love your pics, especially the Ford Victoria that is in Victoria! Thanks for that 60 Oldsmobile, that's a wild paint scheme. Also like the 55 Meteor Ambulance. A lot of really nice Falcons. Was that bird a Gallah or Crimson whatever, can't remember all of the feathered birds names you blokes have down there but always remember seeing them all over the place. Also saw a lot of other birds that I liked. It's starting to get cold here in NJ, wish I was young enough to go back to Australia with my Comet. Thanks for sharing, very enjoyable.

Hi Albert, I believe that the bird was a Crimson Rosella. Quite common up there in the Macedon Ranges.

We get some nice parrots down here, this Eastern Rosella visited the back yard a few minutes ago...

I'll send you some pictures of some early Holdens.(sent)
