Start 'em Young

Post by Jims65cyclone »

Right proud of my son-in-law and grandson. He's getting him started young. At this rate, he'll be a true gearhead by elementary school.

Yeah, I know. The s-i-l is a GM guy, but the basics are transferable. I'll have the grandson working with me on my Comet before long. :D :D

Yeah, that's right. It got us there and back safely, though, so I guess it's not too bad. I've owned a lot of different vehicles over the years, foreign and domestic. I'm not the Ford blue-blooded purist you are. But when I got my current 65 Cyclone some 40+ years after letting my first one go, it was like finding a long lost relative. Brought back a lot of good memories from back then. I hope my grandson will look back when he's grown and have some fond memories of helping his PaPa work on his old Comet.

And if he is going to be around GMs he better know how to fix them, because they need that a lot.

OK so disclaimer, I have never owned a GM vehicle so I cannot say that definitively, the closet thing I have is the Tracker and it is Suzuki with a bow tie.

See Ya,
