An Unusual Call

Post by lavron »

I ordered my connecting rods yesterday online, a few minutes later I got a phone call from the company asking if I really wanted 6 connecting rods (they are for the 4 cylinder 2.5L) I told him yes I was putting them in a 250-6.

Just unusual today to have a company call and confirm you didn't mess up, it shouldn't be that way but we have come accustomed to poor customer service.

See Ya,
Mike

That is surprising...in a good way. Nowadays you typically gotta struggle to get an actual person on the phone and most customer service is lousy.

I had to return a rifle barrel recently that was defective (crown was awful...like BAD). I had to pay to ship it back. I tried telling them "Hey, I should get a shipping label for the return AND what I originally paid to ship since the thing is a turd." Nope...so crossing that outfit OFF the list.
'cause Johno says you gotta have a sig pic! :)
