The factory never used cartoon style advertising back then. Tom Medley was an artist for Hot Rod and penned quite a few automotive themed drawings. He invented “Stroker McGurk” a fictional hot rodder.

I think it’s neat regardless! :lol: Crazy how they got the black hood/fender tops and the tow hooks on the front, but then it has wide white walls!!! :shock: :lol: :lol: :wink:

Wow! The man won a Bronze Star during the Battle of the Bulge. Among all the other hot rodder stuff he did.
