COMET CENTRAL

I have a 65 Comet 404 2dr sedan. Factory HP 271 horse, 4 speed, 9 inch rear, factory medium blue metallic, black bench interior, white headliner.
Can anyone tell me how many of these were made?
I read where about 90 total Comets were equipped like this, but curious how many 404's, and how many were this color. I have been told that "about 8" but want to know for sure.
I am nearing completion on it. Pics to follow later.

I would love to see photos of that one as my car is a 404 sedan. I am doing a hipo knockoff with solid lifter small block, 4 spd, and 9 inch. Those photos would offer great info.

All of fords records before 67 were destroyed in a fire, so you will only find production totals of each body style. how many were equipped a certain way is unknown. but you can bet 404 & 202 hipo car numbers are very very low.

I have researched what I could and looks to be about 80 Cyclones and about 8 of the 404 and maybe 2-3 of the 202.
Any different ideas?

I am nearing completion of the 404 HP and try to post pictures soon. I’m down south on R@R for all of Feb.
