Roger, were you guys able to attain the track you mentioned a while back?
Wish we had one locally but insurance rates down here are off the charts
Joe, we are still working on building a track. Finally got all the right people in one room. Hope to announce the plan this summer. We have to be careful locally as not to announce where we are trying to build as the NIMBY's (Not In My Back Yard)will try to block us. The location we are looking at is way out in the bush. All the Greenies and anti fossil fuels people would protest.

Distributor recurve today. Previous owner changed rear gear from 4.11 > 3.55, didn't touch the MSD
Must have been running a ton of initial advance on race fuel? I could only dial in 8 initial and 26 total @ 2100 on 93 pump gas before I tuned it to be more street friendly. Now running 12 initial and 35 total @ 3000 on 93. Finally picked up some top end power.
Pulled the rear window trim, started prepping the front fenders to do a little body work and prime. I’m probably getting in to this deeper then I want, but just taking my time enjoying it while I can.

I tell myself the same thing after a couple hours work and a very stiff back. May take a couple days to limber up.
Something about fixing things/ making things better makes it worthwhile.
The crew chief came over and he guided the motor and trans back into the car. I just operated the engine puller and watched him do all the hard stuff since I'm still recovering. Thank goodness for the crew chief.
Changed out my 5 point harness as going racing on sunday. Changing belts is a every 3 year donation. They have tag dates on them and must not be outdated.

Ok, you’re flushing it installed, wasn’t sure if you had some other way of testing it while removed. T-10 is what I thought by your sig, but had to ask seeing the trans line hookups.

I did clean it by backflowing water under pressure until the discharge was clean.
I may skip a chemical flush, depending on final results. May not need it.
