I saw that. I bought mine for $1200.00 with the speaker grill and was straining at that a few years ago. I watched them go up over the years. I remember one that had NOS gauges installed that went for $1000.00 6-7 years ago and I thought that was bad. I guess I am glad I bought mine when I did. I even lucked out getting an NOS rear speaker and speaker grill and another guy was parting out a Comet and sold me the original rear speaker wire. They sure do look cool on the dash. Brian

Yeah they look cool. My car has a small original type tach on the dash, and thats it.

A few years ago I bought a 63 hardtop S22 that was really nice for $900. Towing it on the way home I pulled over half way to make sure everything was ok. When I opened the driver door to put something in the back seat there was a 65 Comet Rally Pac sitting on the floor board behind the driver seat that I didnt notice before that. Boy what a surprise because I knew exactly what it was! It was in good condition. At the time I didnt have the 65 I have now, and I didnt really have a use for it, so after a lot of back and forth I put in on Ebay. I got $900 for it so I was happy.

$1800 is crazy, but it was restored and very nice. I think a period looking Sun tach looks cool too (for $35)
