Yeah, nice solid complete car. I pointed out to the guy that his air cleaner decal is misleading and he told me where to go. Then went on a rant about it being a K code. I replied, sure it has a K in the vin for the motor but it is not a hipo as some may think. Anyway the guy was not very nice to me.

Oh yeah, the most important part is it is missing the fun pedal.

I wrote a response a couple years back to a guy selling a 64 "K"code, told him what the K meant,he was not too pleasant to me either!!! He finally got the hint after being blasted by many others. He relisted it correctly thanking all his Comet"friends" for setting him straight!!! ROY.

That car didnt meet reserve, although it did get pushed up kinda high to $11,800. Buyer should have took that money and run!

EDIT: OOOPS!! I meant "seller" should have took the money! Haha

i don't have a dog in the fight, but i find it hard to believe the seats and door panels are original. the condition of the paint on the inside of the doors and the door jambs lead me to think the seats and door panels have been replaced. also, i get tired of seeing a car listed as completely original when it has aftermarket wheels and engine dress up parts. i love a modified car as much as the next person but i also love a truly original car.

I'm tried of telling comet sellers that their K code is just another 289. I no longer bother, if someone gets fooled by the K code then they did not do their research.

I am now with you, last time I bother. Buyer beware.

$11,800 is real high for a car that clearly needs paint.
