Hey guys,just got in[about 2PM] from Bakersfield,the race was postponed until next week end,we had gusts to 80MPH,heavy rain and it looked like a demolition derby for EZ-UPS,including mine.Friday,Dale got shut off on his first hit with a water leak[loose water pump],I had to abort on the big end[lost the top radiator hose,exciting]!!Saturday,we both got good second passes in,not sure what dale ran,I went 10.82,123 into a 30+mph head wind. ROY.

Dales run sat morning was 12.77 or 12.66. Lots of cars to bad that you got 2 hits on the track.

Roger;I think they try to get in too much for a three day race,they dropped four classes and still ran out of time,mostly because of breakage and crashes in every class!!Dale and I pitted next to each other,both of us has visitors all weekend plus the two Comets parked together drew in the spectators,even though we were WAAAAAAY back in the pits!!Quite a wild drive home,strong winds,heavy rain,snow over the mountains then back to heavy winds and rain!!!I met some of your Canadian home boys,crazy crew!!!! Got an invite to hang with them when I get up there for the Ford show at Mission. ROY.

If I do not go moose hunting this year I plan to go to the Ford event at Mission. Who where the guys from Canada?

Our local event has always had to many cars and then add in a couple oil downs or other stuff and we are running late. A couple of us got the Executive to cut the car count down this year. We also have parking issues. This years event should be alot more fun with less cars.

It was hard to watch friday with all the down time. Saturday I turned the computor off after Hotrod class was done.
