I think you could whittle some tail lights out of metal,alum or something else & paint them.
With a small piece of red plastic I could make a couple and paint them to look right.

That's the ranchero model I have which has the round falcon tailights. I need the 65 comet wagon tailights to match what I have on Comechero. Even 64 might work as they are the same shape just a little different arrangement. But when they are that small may be ok. Might be able to paint them out to look close. I have found a 64 but at $45 not sure it's worth it.

Geez, are we selling and trading parts for plastic models now? Now I know I what old guys do that can't crawl under cars anymore.

Was playing on the net and found this about the afx version, has a couple pictures of a afx version Moebius used for a test shot. Plus some discussion about it, no release date, etc.

Not yet! I opened mine but I'm too busy working on a rusty real one! :?

Haven't started on mine yet either. Too cold in garage and nowhere to work till some stuff gets put away. Still looking for for a model wagon with the right taillights.
