Well that low aluminum oil pan bit me.
I was going up a friends driveway out in
the country with the family and never
noticed a rock sticking out of the gravel.
Turned out it was the tip of a big rock that
was mostly buried and it got me good!
I think I'll build a cross member and skid plate
so its a little more protected!
After all it is a pretty hard piece to dupilcate with the drag link runnin through it.

Damn Aluminum
That does not sound good!!Did it destroy the pan?Us city boys don't have to worry about no stinking rocks, just idiots that should not be allowed to drive! I hope you are back up and running. ROY
Real Racecars have 3 pedals
I finally worked up the guts to jack up the car to check the damage, WHAT A MESS! I still haven't learned to load pics here but you can check it out at cardomain search 2603435.
I'm headed back to where I used to live in Saskatchewan for a visit,
it is also where I built the pan. So guess who I'll be visiting after shop
hours?
Kelvin at Kelvin's Wheel where I can send some time(quite a bit of time) brushing up on my aluminum welding!
