found a 67

today while making my rounds looking for what I can find ,ran across a 67 comet,nice stright body,good glass except the drivers door glass,had bucket seats and a consol,the hood was missing and the grill was in the back seat but it appeared to be in great shape,it was a 289 3 spd on the column,,motor is out but is laying in the trunk ,the owner had lost the key so I didn't get to look at it,he couldn't recall if the tranny was in the trunk,,,what amazed me was how stright the body was ,the paint of course was gone on the top and trunk lid.......it was all there right down to the factory radio even had both wiper arms,,,,here's the kicker ,this guy won't hardly sell anything,,as he told me when I ask if he would sell it,if I let it go then it's gone and I wouldn't have it no more !! it is a 2door and even the shifter linkage was still hanging.......POP is always wasteing gas and time looking for what ever I can find sitting behind a barn or out in the field,,I get wasp stung and sun burnt and covered in ticks ,,but if I can get by that barking ass dog,,I'm gonna check it out

Well Pops at least you know the trunk is solid if it's holding the motor and trans. Watch out for the snakes as well!!

COULD you get a 202 with buckets and consol ?? I can go with a 289 3spd,but ?? Thinking about going back and take a 2nd more detailed look,might even try to get into the trunk and see what all is in there...........pop

Don't think that was a 202 option. Buy it.
