Hi all.
Need some assistance.
My 66 was originally a Power Brake car, but at some point someone converted it to manual brakes.
Here is what it looks like currently:
Looks like someone soldered an adapter to the brake line to mate it up with the current master cylinder.
There is a junction on the apron, but no proportioning valve.
I also have the vacuum tube from the intake manifold that connect via hose to the booster.
My car is a 4 wheel drum setup. Also considering to go to discs on the front and a dual master cylinder for safety.
I have the original (i think) booster and master cylinder. Here it is:
The previous owner also gave me this assembly, which I am assuming is the mechanism for the power brake system inside the car:
So, my questions are:
1: Does anyone have a photo of the proper brake like routing for the PB setup?
2: Do these parts in the photos look correct?
I am planning to replace the booster and the master cylinder, and I am also considering to replace all the brake lines. If someone makes a kit please advise.
Thanks in advance for the help, Len

Re: 66 Power Brake setup
WOW! in all my days I have never seen anyone weld or solder on brake lines. it took me a few minutes to see it! that guy either needed a wheel barrow for his kahonas or a thimble for his brains, I'd give him a thimble.
