Post by wacko212 »

I have installed the TCI front end and now i need to know what size power brake booster and master cylinder will fit and clear a 428 engine ? Will 8 " work? Where is the best place to get this and the proportioning valve ? Gary

I was wondering how this was going for you Gary, glad you checked back in. I havent addressed any of the things youre working right now so cant make any suggestions, beyond the obvious - wilwood (sp ?), summit, jegs...

Just wanted to say I'm interested in your progress and lessons learned, etc. some day, if you took any share them pics. :). Good luck and keep us updated.

Hey Gary,

I'd like to help too, but my role here is more asking the questions rather than answering ;) Maybe if we all keep chiming in and keep this thread active somebody will eventually have the answer.

NPD carries a 7" "mini booster" for 67-70 Mustangs p/n 2005-11A. 67-70 Mustangs had big blocks and their engine compartments werent huge, so maybe those would fit your application. They also have the matching master cylinder and prop valve.
Speedway Motors is also a great source for custom brake stuff.
