If I drove to PA and back to get that I'd be into It for about two crites hoods, a pin kit and a prop rod lol. You havent seen my hood have you? It's different but pretty cool - needs a lot of crack repair too.... Once I get the low profile breather I'll know if I have to cut it or not - hoping not..... Pics when you get yours back. :)

Tomahawk, here's a couple pictures which show my hood. The previous owner had done this - I honestly think they cut up a glass hood for something else and married it to the comet's hood - needs a lot of work but I kinda like the look. The scoops are live but they had not cut any air escapes in so everything was cracking from balooning on the highway.

After my low profile air cleaner arrives I'll get the hood mated back up and figure out where I go from there - cut the hood, cowl induction scoop or maybe it will work without any mods.

Here is the air cleaner I ordered - should be coming next week...it was backordered.

The factory 66/67 hoods are thicker/heavier than most aftermarket hoods. The Crites hood has bigger scoops that flow into an inner plenum, factory scoops are for looks.Factory hood should have a hood latch! ROY.
