Post by Markunas1 »

I don't know why really.. saw it on one thought it looked good. I'll probably be sticking with what I got now for a while except I need some headers.

I always thought side pipes were cool until I was doing a radio install in a Stingray that had them, I forgot they were there and burned the fool out of my leg getting out of the car! If that is what you like, go for it!!!! My comet is going to be a different one for sure but its because it'll be what I like. Besides, never seen a 64/65 comet before!

I guess that could be a bad thing. Knowing me I'd get burned every time I messed with it. But being different is the best thing about having a comet I think.

The ugly pipes on Brads were off a corvette. Man his car looks so much better without em.

Yea to each his own, it's your baby make it what you want it to be. The pipes were on the car when I bought it but they were just 60 lbs extra that didn't need to be there. Like John said, they were off a vette. I'm on the ipad otherwise I would post a pic for you. Don't expect the purists in here to like em tho, but on the street they just make it stand out that much more. ;). Have fun with your car!

Thanks guys. Still unsure. I do think they look good but 60 lbs is quite a lot of weight. I'll have to think it over

Got J.C. Whitney's on mine. Sound good and have them tucked under.
