66 caliente 390 4 speed,buckets,tack,fiberglass hood

hey everybody,since I bought my comet in 84 for some reason I have never seen another one with these options,i have searched the web car shows mags. etc. some have some of the options but not all. anybody know of any with 390 4 speed,buckets tack figerglass hood, black with white seats and vinyl top. just wondering my old comet might be rare!

I think the glass hood was Cyclone only. Everything I have ever read states that. Tack could easily be added. As for the FE and 4 speed; what does the door tag code read? The tag will tell you what engine, trans and interior trim code it came with, providing the door hasn't been changed.

its a y code 390, hood and tack and buckets could have been ordered i put the vin on the forum topic decoding vin # it has all original int and paint till i had it painted,even without the hood i still havent seen any calientes with y code 390 buckets ,tack and 4 speed tack is on top of dash, black. looks original to me i dont think anything has been changed on it. it was a survivor when i bought it.

im no expert but i have owned several 289 calientes, 390 cyclones,gt fairlanes,sprint falcon,and a couple galaxies. i really do believe this is a pretty rare original comet.

i just got through doing a little investigation. title matched door tag also matched tag under coil bracket on the intake manifold. i knew it would but its nice to know for sure

sorry if im getting a little excited but i have seen many gt cyclones,many gt fairlanes. where is all the 390 4 speed,bucket seat calientes at?

I thought the 67s had the tach in the dash,not on top!! My friend has a 67 Cyclone,390,4-speed,he bought new in late 66,Tach is in the dash! ROY.

my tack is on top of the dash you can see it through the front glass just like 66 cyclones

What is the tranny code on the door tag?

That is the only 390 2V 4 speed I've seen in that platform. Interesting combo and nice car. Even though I have owned multiple years the six and seven's are my favorite.
As a side note, I did have a 67 Fairlane Y code and 3 on the tree.
