1966 Convertible Top frame

Post by Lakeview »

Does anyone know if the convertible top frame on a 1966 comet is the same as a 1966 galaxie.

I don't know but a Galaxie in much wider and the windshield area would be different I'd think.
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

Do you need frame parts for a 66 Comet? I have a spare.
66 Cyclone GT; 245/60R15's on 15x8's and 215/70R15's on 15x7 Magnum's.
There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

Looking for convertible top frame parts for my 66 cyclone gt that's been in a barn the past 42 years. Also for back seats in decent condition.
Any help on this long road to restoration would be greatly appreciated. I do have a couple parts cars and might have parts for somebody also.

Are you willing to sell any parts from your spare top frame?

I need the right rear arm that lays up against the rear edge of the quarter window. It will have a ford PN on it.
Thanks
Kelly
