'66 with Flowmaster 50's

Post by dcducks1 »

Here is '66 with the new exhaust. It sounds pretty quiet at idle, but sounds great going down the road. I like how the "H" pipe blends the exhaust so you don't get as much popping as you coast.

For anyone working on an exhaust.....this is just for reference........the car had glasspacks on it when I purchased it and I thought long and hard about putting Flowmaster 40's on it and I am glad I didn't . Although the 40's have a great sound, the 50's are much more insulated and reduce the noise inside the car considerably. I didn't like taking long drives with the car when it had glasspacks....you couldn't have a conversation and you were deaf when you arrived. The 50's sound great from the outside, still have a nice muscle car sound, and conversations going down the road are not a problem.
