I'm going to replace the stock leaf springs on my 65 with new ones of the same size/type. Is there any preferred brand or vendor I should be looking for? Are they all about the same?
Thanks

65 stock leaf springs
Re: 65 stock leaf springs
ESPO springs in Pennsylvania make a great product and are very helpful.
Albert's 65 289, polar white, black buckets, 5 speed, Autolite 4100, ps, pb, factory tach, crites hood, headers, dual exhaust
Re: 65 stock leaf springs
I bought mine from St Louis Spring years ago. IMO, the car sits to high. The car has never settled down at all. I would not buy from them again.
Re: 65 stock leaf springs
McVeigh's...talk to Tom...they have a standard replacement and a spring intended for Ranchero's/ wagons that correct for our Comets that is a bit stiffer. I used the latter, but the lesser arch will cause the rear to sit lower (probably preferable by most):
