if that is the one you need it will work just fine,,,,we have used odd sized u-joints on our race cars in the past and never a problem,,,,,way back in the 60's ,OL POP used one when I installed a 1957 engine and tranny in my 1955 crown vic ,had to use the 57 frt yoke on the drive shaft,,,was a street driven car for yrs,,,,,,worked like a clock...good luck,,,pop

Measure cap width and diameter and go down to Napa and ask for a conversion u joint and give them the measurements. Helps if you can take both u joints with you then they can measure them. I think I have a conversion joints on both ends of my driveshaft. T5 trans to police interceptor aluminum driveshaft to explorer 8.8 diff

^^^ what others have said.
You have to consider needle bearing cup diameter on the u-joints, as well when measuring.
There are two different cup sizes for the old 9" yokes, as far as I know. They are very close to the same size.
Very easy to mess this up, if you aren't precise.
Good hunting!

Don't remember details, long ago, but have used cups from different crosses to get right measurements.
Was behind my Cleveland 4speed when I was drag racing and have never busted a u joint,,, dont be scared to experiment.
