I purchased my car almost a year ago and still havent been able to open the glove box. My keys dont work. I would like to open it without damging the lock if possible. How do I go about doing this. There could be something good in there!!!!

Re: Help Me
Try any old ford keys you have and you may find one that when wiggled in place may do it. there are only 3 tumblers used in the glove box lock so not difficult to pick.

the box is just cardboard, cut a flap in the bottom and release it from inside ( they make repops of them)

Re: Help Me
If you really need to get in,the box is only thin cardboard,I would sacrifice that before I screwed up the lock and or door!!You minght try a REAL locksmith, not some guy that yesterday repaired tires or something!!! I had a tailgate lock that would not work with ANY of my keys, locksmith had it fixed in about 15 minutes!! ROY.

Re: Help Me
Pretty sure the trunk key worked the glove box, man now that I think about it
been a long time since I used it.
