What would your spray gun set up recommendations be for spraying underside of my 65
Its going to be 2.5 feet off the ground at best and the spray gun upside down for the floor pan
I was thinking of getting a pressure pot with hose to a gun from HF or similiar as a gravity gun isnt going to work upside down and it doesnt require a super fantastic finish.

Get the pressure pot. As you say gravity guns don't spray upside down, plus it will leak paint all over you out the cup vent. Or if you bump the gun/cup on the car and cap pops off then you got a real mess. Spraying the underneath is a pain, the pressure pot will make it better. Wear a paint respirator and eye protection!!

Play with the pressure and supply/feed to you get it to spray nice at the speed you will be spraying. Your going to be spraying slower than you would be say spraying the topside of car so you will want to cut the supply down and I would use a lower pressure so it doesn't blow back in your face. Do some test patterns on a car board box. Set it up so it works for you at a nice slow pace, and if you you feel you need to speed up when your under the car then you can always bump up the settings.
