Door handle shaft assembly

Hi guys. My driver side door opener on the inside has a broken spring which allows the handle to flop. I haven't been able to locate one online. Was wondering if the 65 mustang assembly would work? That's the only thing I can find out there.

1966 and newer which have the screw to attach the handle.
