Anybody know where I can get the little 1/8 inch staples used to attach the vinyl to the door panel? I am in the process of making new door panels for my cyclone and am using 1/8 inch
pressed board but cant find any staples. How about just using contact cement?

Did you try an upholstery shop? I think the glue would work, especially a quality brand! ROY.

Contact cement[glue] is usually water proof after it drys so I feel it should work well, maybe ask the upholstery shop about that too!! ROY.

Hey pops. Do you think the foam backing will stick to the fiber brd or will it tear away? Especially on the back side where it folds over the edges.popscomet wrote:the upholtstrey shops I been in have a glue they spray from a paint cup gun onto fiber brd or a form of card brd,be fore they cover it

YES ,but leave e'nuff to fold over (don't skimp) then take a staple gun and shoot a few in at the stress points,it can be a staple from your desk if it will go into the brd....POP

Door panels are done. I used E6000 adhesive and a few staples in the corners. Turned out good. Adhesive seems strong.
