Gas pedal mounts

Post by Ledman_70 »

Hey guys, I just finished building new floorpans for my 65 Cyclone and I bought a new gas pedal, but it didn't come with mounts bolts/studs. Can anybody help me out here? I have no idea what the pedal mounts to the floor with. Can anybody tell me where I can get the mounts, or send a pic if it just takes bolts? Thanks guys.

I have one off the car, I'll get you a pic up tomorrow. If your talking about the bottom part I think they are sheet metal screws with a built in washer.

It looks to me like it has to be some kind of pivot since the bottom of the pedal doesn't bend easily. Maybe some kind of ball stud it could snap on to??

It may get screwed down, but it has to be able to pivot because the pedal doesn't hardly bend. I can't tell what was there originally because the pedal was missing due the floor under it being MIA also!

This one bends easy, I guess they are stiff when new.
