4 Speed Tunnel Hump

Gettin ready to cut the whole for the Toploader. I went to trace it out and when i moved it the dust had already done it for me.Image
It's like a Falcon only cooler!

JIM,it appears the good LORD,lent you a helping hand....when I cut the hole in mine ,I cut it just barely big e'nuff for the shifter,,,I did not want no more hole then needed,,good luck,your doing good stuff,,keep it up :roll: 8) :lol: pop

Hey Jim when I cut the shifter hole in my 65 I did just that. Traced it and cut 1 inch inside the mark. It's gonna come damn close to the trans crossmember so look out!
On mine even with the big hole the shifter is a tight fit just about everywhere.
Also instead of screwing it down I used small bolts with nuts.

I saw a picture of JOE'S hole (that don't sound to KOSHER,does it)anyway the hole I cut for mine is not as big as JOE's,I have a stock shifter....pop

hey jim spent most uv winter sick, didnt have it in me to get in the shop. whether is finally breaking got urge to work on it again hope to post pics soon... 8)
