New member from Arkansas

Post by ArkansasComet »

Hello everyone,
I am a new member from Arkansas, I recently moved here from CA. My first car was a 1965 Comet 202 with a 302 out of a '68 Mustang. I sold the car 12 years ago and picked up a 1964 Comet a few years later. After replacing the roof due to rust, I sold the car when I moved from CA to Arkansas (big mistake!). A few weeks ago I picked up another 1965 202 to replace my first car. This car is in bad shape but I plan to fix it up & get it back on the road in the near future. I look forward to learning a lot from everyone here & sharing my project progress! Here are some pics. of my cars, the first is my first 1965 202, then the 1964 Caliente, & my new 1965 202.

My first 1965 202 that I restored in high school (behind it is my brother's '56 Fairlane & my friends '55 Ford, '65 Mustang & '66 Mustang)

After seeing the roof replacement thread I think the 202 is in good hands to get fixed up.

I agree with Lavron, that 202 will be looking sharp when you are done with it.
