- Pedal bolts directly to the floor, without a hinge?

Hello,
My name is Mark Weitzman, from Whittier CA. I just purchased a '64 Caliente. It's somewhat rough, but runs ok. Was a 289 car, now has a 302, with a C-4 trans. My first question is, does the gas pedal bolt directly to the floor, as per the picture (picked up a repro at Mac's Auto). My car was missing the pedal.
Will post more pic's this weekend.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks guys. Here's a few pic's. Engine is a '69 302, not the 289 it says. Lot's of things to do. Starting on the long bumpy road

Looks like a great start. Nice dash and interior. Clean engine bay, nice bumper. I'd say you've got a keeper there. I like that color too. Don't see that one much. Welcome aboard.

Thanks. Been going round, and round with the minister of finance (SWMBO), and think that the gold will be the color it will be resprayed (it was a white car originally).
