New guy here. Joined to learn from people that have been around comets. I had a 65 caliente convertible many years ago and foolishly sold it. Looking to get another comet to build up.

Welcome aboard! I can relate to your foolishly selling your Comet. I did the same thing with my first 65 Cyclone back in the early 70's. Finally got me another one, though, and you will, too. We're not the only two on this forum that could kick themselves for the one they let get away.
