So I took my tail light lenses apart to clean them up. I have been using Brillianize for a couple of years now after I discovered it. I was introduced to this magical stuff by a Xerox copier field rep. I purchased a gallon of it because I liked it so much. The reason I like it is because it cleans, polishes and doesnt leave an oily residue like every other plastic polish. I found out it is also used in Aerospace on canopies. I have also used it to polish billiard balls for pool tables. It also doesnt allow fingerprints to show up on tablet screens. Anyways, getting to the point. Here is a couple of photos of my inboard taillight lenses after using Brillianize.

Here is my delapidated corner lense. I am pretty sure you can achieve better results using an abrasive/cutting type polish first. Brillianize is used mostly to keep new and damage free surfaces there best.
