I know you have had that car a long time. Have you changed the rear deck lid? I thought 67 lid's had Mercury script and 66's had the Comet logo is why I ask.

Did you ever get to those valve cover's?

good eye Stacy,when i bought this car it had bullet holes in the trunk and driver side.looked to me like someone got shot at.i fixed the door and i bought a deck lid at a junk yard.back then you had to have a bill of sale when you bought a car.i had trouble with this.it had been won in a poker game and resold.i had to run down a couple people for the bill of sale. i guess i will have to wait till spring to dig those covers out.i opened the door on my building the other day.you cant even put a foot inside,its stacked to the ceiling,from front to back where the valve covers are,sorry all my fe stuff is in the back,i thought they would be safer there,hard to get at or steal.i need a couple things too.i do have plans to dig them out.

Nice looking Fryedaddy, especially the chrome wheels.

I might have missed an earlier thread concerning this car, but what does it have for an engine? Do you have any plans on replacing the missing chrome?

i thought by now everybody knew it had a big bad 428 in it and that it came with a y code 390 4 speed. i have 2 sets of chrome for this car,but i believe if i get it painted i will leave the side chrome delete. but i need to get the rear window chrome and the chrome around the grill back on

I agree with shaving the trim. And I may have some rear window trim to barter if you need any of it.
