Yeah, they stuck in a 67 grill for 67 racing season, it is the same car though. Sold for $160,000 plus fees on Saturday night.

Boss;those pictures are of my friend,Tim Oneal's 64 at this years March Meet,he runs C/GAS,9.60 index.The Comet runs a centrifugal blown 393W,full interior all steel car,will run 9.40s.He takes full blame for the crash,the car got loose,he thought he was straight and stabbed the throttle and lost it.He was OK,just mad at himself as it was only qualifying.The Comet is repairable,the fenders,bumper and grill-headlights got destroyed,he has it all apart,has found a few parts and with the help of alot of other Comet freaks and friends will be back.There is a video on the H.A.M.B. website,go to 64-65 Comets about page 32 or so. ROY.

Boss;I just went on the H.A.M.B. website,the thread is , 64/65Comets old drag cars lets see pictures,the you tube video is on page 50.Mercury junkie also posted a video of my Comet against a T-Bolt at the March Meet. There are alot of great old Comet pictures on that thread,pack a lunch if you plan to look thru the whole thread!!! ROY.

Love the African safari 64's. I can't find the picture with the giraffes running in front of a 64 blasting across the African plains. I did find this one though.

Just noticed, CA plates on a car in Africa...cool!

Joe;I never noticed the plates before,TOO COOL!!!! The manufacturers did alot of wild stuff to promote their cars back then.Now they just tell you about the 200 air bags,12million watt stereo and 14 cup holders!! ROY.
