A lot of nice work but too much unadorned red paint IMO. Especially on the rear and interior-wise... trim, bumper, cup holder(s), glove box, etc...c'mon!! :D
'cause Johno says you gotta have a sig pic! :)

Ain't no Falcon left in it :x
To my semi-traditional eyes it looks strange.

I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

It's a ford, I like that part,& the big V8. I like the color. I think I would like it better at ride height. Why build a big out of place console & have nothing in it? for me that kills the interior. they say less is more sometimes. sometimes it isnt. I like to see engine bay not covers. I bet it would look good going down the road, but sadly it is doomed to be a show car.

SOME OF YA'LL DO but most don't know,,that FORD sent out of the factory about a 100 ford cars with a plexi-glass insert in the hood,in 1954,,,so's the salemen wouldn't have to lift the hood to show off FORDS 1st ohv V8 engine,,,,they sent a regular painted hood along with the car ,,just in case the buyer did not want the see thru hood...it would be changed out at dealer's cost.....these fords went to select dealers,,,most hoods were traded out and they wound up in the scrap pile,,,,,those Y blocks were sharp looking engines...even if the DIST was in the rear,,but they sat on a slant toward the pass fender,,,unlike a chevy that sat straight up right,,,,,,just thought I'd throw that info out there   pop

A buddy of mine has one. The only hood I've ever seen like that.

There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

That murdered look is quite popular, not my preference though. There is a reason I like the older cars; "chrome".

Pop, my friend's car collection would blow you away. All Ford or Merc, mostly 50's with some 60's Galaxies and he restored every single one himself. He owned a body shop. Dick had that 54 with the hood in the 60's and never sold it. The last time I talked to him a year ago, they were hitting him weekly with chemo trying to buy him some time. I called 6 month's ago and left a message but never got a return call. Let me just name a few of his car's
55 Ford Hardtop, Glasstop and Sunliner.

The 54 I mentioned, a 59 retractable with the PI package, an all original 31,000 mile triple black Galaxie 500 XL, to name a few. I don't know how many car's in all but the above gives you an idea. The pole barn is huge and full. Not to mention 2 other garage's. His back yard is literally a 50's 60's salvage yard.

The last time we visited him about 5 year's ago he'd just finished a 56 tudor post car, baby blue over white V8 car. I said Dick, how much? He grinned and said, oh, I don't know if I could get my money back out of it. Pause; "I gave $20 for it in 1966" grin.
