I guess I can eye it, but I thought I'd see what other people have done. I bought my wagon with a rebuilt motor painted ford blue. I want to spray my engine bay the og correct colors.
Looking for suggestions on the valve covers/air filter and the engine bay. (I found something on Macs auto, but I'm looking to just pick up something at an autostore)
Also looking for suggestions on block and the engine bay

To be correct the engine bay should be semi-gloss black. I've used Rustoleum Satin Black and it looks just about right.
For 65 the engine block, head and oil pan were painted black. I believe the water pump as well.

For the valve covers and air cleaner it's a medium yellow. Not bright like banana yellow. More like Fords Springtime yellow. I don't have a paint code. Heres a good example if you scroll through the pics http://topclassiccarsforsale.com/mercur ... ering.html
