I am not really having a hard time sourcing most of my needed parts.
I am however stuck with the seats.

1963 Comet Convertible s22
The rear seat is just rusty springs that break when you touch the seat
The fronts are pretty much the same. Just slightly better.

Has anyone had this issue?
Where do I get seats? The upholstery seems easy to locate. Just not the bases and springs.

Are there any other cars that will work? Besides possibly a falcon?

bolt spacing is a little different, you'd need to drill new holes,probably 3 on each seat.or make adapters. but they would fit just fine in the car. but comet upholstery may not fit.

Those may be for a hardtop which are different than convertible seats. tracks are different & they sit higher (hardtop seats).

What kind of modifications?

And the Stang seats have a much lower profile.

The foam in this area needed to be cut to be narrower across the top edge to accommodate a different thickness of the area.
