63 comet taillight bracket

has anybody ever tried to redo the back tail-light bracket? almost all of the black is gone so i;m trying to figure out a way of painting it short of taping each little square seperate

I have the same project.... A tiny brush and some black paint is my solution

My recommendation is to use some really good masking tape and a really sharp knife to make the cuts.

Dave's right on target with this one. Good masking tape and a exacto knife should do the trick. Mark

Just started to do this on my 63. Bought a black fine tipped paint pen at Walmart. Works pretty well. Just don't get up too close!

Masking tape of the correct thickness can be found at a specialty auto paint store. You should have one local
