62 , 2 door post, back seat back can not be removed until the armrests get out of the way, I have removed the one obvious screw in the bottom of the armrest but it still doesnt budge and I'm scared to break it so I figured I'd better ask.
Does the ashtray come off and reveal another screw? if so, how the heck do they come off?
should be easy enough buuuuut.

ok, figured it out, you open the ashtray, push down on the little round tab thats made for snubbing the ciggs out. then slide the ashtray forward and off the tracks its mounted on. then remove the screw that holds the whole thing to the side panel. whew! 
I knew it had to come off somehow and to clean the ashtrays, I figured there had to be an easy way to remove them.
I found the second screw that I knew was there by reaching into the body from the outside where I cut the lower panel off to replace with new metal, I reached in there and sure enough, the second hidden screw
