Can somebody tell me or point me in the direction of a picture of how the parking brake cable hooks up on the 63? I understand the front, from the lever through the frame, and then what happens?? Mine had nothing else when I got it and I think I want to put it back, or I might just carry around a rock with me to put behind the tire when I park.
Thanks
Rob
Parking brake cable on a 63
Re: Parking brake cable on a 63
I'll see if i can find something for you. There should be a lever on the transmission crossmember. The upper cable connects to the outer end of the lever. The rear cable connects to the other end with a small bar with a bend in it and a curved piece that cups the rear looped cable. I'll get back to you. Mark

Okay, thanks Mark. I did find a diagram of a Falcon I think but I wasn't 100% sure it would be the same, but from what you said it sounds like it is. I appreiciate the help. Now I have an idea of all the pieces I need to get. Thanks again!!
