gas pedal

Post by dmsteen »

got a new gas pedal and went to put on and i noticed at the top of the pedal there is a small hole on each side. is there supposed to be like a pin that goes there to hold it in place ? my old one didn;t have anything there ,just held by the 2 screws on the bottom

thanx dave

My 64 pedal has the screw holes. I think there was a screw that held the pedal on the accelerator bracket. Otherwise it can flop forward.

Some pedals have a small roll pin that goes across there to keep the pedal from coming towards you. Mark
