No exact numbers, but the V-8, 4spd make it a keeper!

Thank you all for the kind words & great info, I have learned more about the car on here in the last couple of weeks than I have in the 3 plus years I have owned it. :) I really look forward to digging into this project just as soon as I can finish up this marathon resto of my old high school car. I originally thought maybe a year, but it's morphed into 4 years now and at this rate it most likely will be one more before it's done.

Great car to restore!
Keep in mind that the 63 1/2 to 65 Comet and Ford Falcon have many parts that interchange. Most V8 drive train and chassis parts will fit. In fact 65-66 Mustang chassis and drive train parts will fit too.
Good luck with it!

I have a stocker S-22 V8 2 speed, white with red known as Aunt Lou, she is a sweet driving little car and one of my favorites but I gotta admit I wise she was a 4 gear. That said I would vote leave her the way Merc built her, I would even consider getting her running and drive the devil out of her like she is for awhile. What other cars do you have, as you can see, I have other interest as well and these tolerate me pretty well.

Good luck keep us posted on the progress.
